Brief Description of Study Objectives: To determine the prevalence of bloodstream bacterial infections among renal failure patients in Dongola, Sudan. To identify the common bacterial isolates and their antibiotic susceptibility patterns based on clinical records. Methodology: A descriptive, hospital-based cross-sectional study. Data Collection: Retrospective data will be collected from medical records and laboratory logs of renal failure patients. Analysis: Statistical analysis will be used to calculate the prevalence and correlate infections with patient demographics. Expected Results: Identification of the most frequent bacterial pathogens causing bloodstream infections in these patients. Providing updated data on antibiotic resistance to help improve local treatment protocols.
