This study aims to assess the prevalence of anemia and identify its associated risk factors among female students at the University of Dongola, Northern State, Sudan, in 2026. A descriptive institution-based cross-sectional study will be conducted among female undergraduate students using stratified random sampling to ensure representation from different faculties. Data will be collected using a structured questionnaire covering sociodemographic characteristics, dietary habits, health history, and symptoms suggestive of anemia. The collected data will be analyzed using appropriate statistical methods to examine the associations between potential risk factors and reported symptoms suggestive of anemia. The study is expected to identify common risk factors and provide useful information to guide future anemia prevention and health promotion interventions among female university students.
