The study aims to describe the socio-demographic and clinical characteristics of affected children and determine the frequency of selected perinatal factors, including mode of delivery, gestational age, birth weight, birth asphyxia, Apgar score, neonatal jaundice, NICU admission, and maternal illness during pregnancy. Methodology: An analytic cross-sectional study will be conducted at Dongola Hospitals. Data will be collected using a structured, interviewer-administered questionnaire from parents or guardians of eligible children. The collected data will be analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics. Expected Results: The study is expected to provide local data on the distribution of perinatal factors among children with simple febrile seizures and identify possible patterns and associations between these factors and simple febrile seizures. The findings may contribute to improving clinical awareness, parental counselling, and future research in Northern State, Sudan.
